Tuesday, February 7th we visited a famous museum: The Memorial of Caen. Two classes 1re L and the 1re ES were present.
World War II is part of the History program and a little bit of the Economics program.
In the morning, we visited the part which concerns WWII. The guide spoke English fluently and allowed us to deepen our history vocabulary, hence the fact that we are writing our article in English. At the beginning, he talked about totalitarism and then about the consequences on the civilians.
We moved to Camille Claudel school to have lunch.
In the afternoon, a lady introduced us to the Cold War through interactions with students: she would ask questions and we would answer.
We learned more about the different ideologies: Communism, Nazism, the American way of life…

Le mardi 7 février nous avons visité un musée renommé : Le Mémorial de Caen. Deux classes étaient présentes la 1re L et la 1reES.
La deuxième guerre mondial est une partie de notre programme d’histoire et d’économie.
Le matin, nous avons visité la partie qui concerne la Seconde Guerre. Le guide parlait couramment Anglais ce qui nous a permis d’approfondir le vocabulaire vu en histoire, c’est pourquoi nous rédigeons cet article en Anglais. Au début, il nous a parlé du totalitarisme puis des conséquences sur les civils.
Nous avons pris le déjeuner à l’école Camille Claudel.
Dans l’après midi, une femme nous a présenté la guerre Froide grâce à un échange interactif ; elle nous a posé des questions et nous avons répondu.
Nous avons approfondi nos connaissances à propos de différentes idéologies telle que le Communisme, le Nazisme et le mode de Vie Américain...
